Morgan Drexen Community Charitites

Morgan Drexen is a company that proudly displays its commitment to the community.  Although Morgan Drexen is considered a “mid-size” company, its employees think big when it comes to helping those in need.

Morgan Drexen partners with nearly a dozen non-profit groups, both locally and nationally.  Whether the goal is raising thousands of dollars for Children’s Hospital  of Orange County (CHOC), or collecting more than 2,100 pounds of food for the Orange County Rescue Mission, or filling up every available time slot during a blood drive for the American Red Cross, Morgan Drexen employees have stepped up time and time again.

It is a commitment that starts at the top.

“I can’t stress enough how important it is to help those in need,” says Walter Ledda, CEO of Morgan Drexen.  “Our entire business model is focused on making law firms and other businesses more efficient, so that they in turn can offer their services at affordable rates to folks who are struggling.  It does not surprise me one bit that our employees are so generous, both with their time and money.  Everyone here shares in the spirit of giving.”

Morgan Drexen’s largest contributions have been to Children’s Hospital of Orange County.  Morgan Drexen signed a pledge to raise $25,000 for CHOC over a five-year period.  In 2012 alone, employee fundraisers and corporate contributions added up to more than $18,000 dedicated to CHOC.  Company fundraisers have also raised thousands of dollars for other worthy groups including Royal Family KIDS, Pure Game, and the American Heart Association.

Morgan Drexen employees are also ready and willing to contribute more than just money.  The company recently received a “Silver Award” from the American Red Cross, which signifies a minimum 20% increase year-over-year in the number of blood units donated.  Morgan Drexen also contributes time and money to cultural organizations.  Company CEO Walter Ledda, who was recently appointed to the marketing committee of Pacific Symphony in Costa Mesa, CA, decided a big dose of glamour was in order.  Morgan Drexen sponsored a red carpet gala prior to a Pacific Symphony event in order to bring attention to the Symphony and its efforts to grow classical music in Orange County.

“There is no cause too large or too small,” says Ledda.
